Marines Were Caught Simulating Sex

Some drunken Marines had a little too much fun in Scotland.

Luke Bowen, Jordan Coia, and Ben James were Scottish Marines just a few months ago, but have now gotten themselves kicked out of service.

The three were caught on surveillance cameras drinking each other’s urine and simulating oral sex ourside of the DeVitos nightclub in Angus, Scotland. A club that’s near the Roayl Marine base in Angus.

On the night of the incident, club staff were informed that there “were a number of males with their genitals exposed outside,” but when they went out to check they couldn’t find anything.

It wasn’t until the next morning that they checked security footage (which wasn’t released) and got themselves an eyeful of the action.

When the hammer struck down, the three men later pleaded guilty to charges of public indecency.

That said, because the court believed that the three were just three drunk idiots horsing around and not actually purposely trying to have public sex, or as the court nicely put it, there was “no significant sexual element,” the three men don’t have to go to jail.

That said, all three have been kicked out of the Marines and they also have to commit to 200 hours  of community service. (Apparently, there were other men around them during the incident, but because they didn’t actually take part in the play they are free to continue service).

“It appears there’s an expectation that Marines participate in conduct such as this,” said Deputy Stewart Duncan. “This was puerile and repugnant as the narration clearly demonstrates.”

It seems the Marines agree as Bowen’s lawyer Lynne Sturrock said, “He had hoped this would be a lifelong career but it has been brought to an end. He’s ashamed and embarrassed at this incident and his family and friends now are all aware of the circumstances of it.”
